Charles Francis Annesley Voysey was one of the most innovative Arts and Crafts architects. He was also a very versatile designer and produced designs for wallpaper, fabrics, tiles, ceramics, furniture and metalwork. Some of his patterns were used for objects in a wide variety of materials.

The Victoria and Albert Museum was established to make works of art available to all, and to inspire British designers and manufacturers. Today the V&A's collections span over 5000 years of human creativity, and continue to intrigue, inspire and inform.
